The film tells about the organization of education and life of Australian children in primary school. This is a team project involving children, staff of teachers and the community.

Education at universities in Australia differs in many ways from the mainstream classical forms of education. Taking undergraduate English is not easy, especially if you come from a non-English country. Many students struggle to come to universities of Australia not because they are academically capable but because they find it hard to adapt to a new environment.

Australian students who live in remote areas attend school remotely through the School of the Air. The film excerpt from 1958 shows how they used radio to communicate with their teacher and their classmates, to learn and have fun.
