The third installment in the Madagascar franchise is a great family film, packed with crazy adventures, fun characters and action-filled entertainment.
(1) . Unfortunately, the penguins and the chimpanzees have travelled to Monte Carlo, and without their flapping plane there is no chance that Alex and his friends Marty, Gloria and Melman will be able to cross the Atlantic. (2) .
Alex and his friends have hardly arrived before they encounter the penguins and chaos A To make B worse, Monte Carlo is the home of Captain Chantelle DuBois, a crazy lady from the Animal Control, whose greatest desire is to C a stuffed lion’s head on her wall. As a matter of fact, DuBois turns out to be such an excellent bloodhound that our heroes see no other option than to infiltrate an old circus in order to escape.
(3) . The new characters refresh an already excellent cast, and the love affair between King Julien and Sonya the cycling bear takes the film to new absurd levels.
“Madagascar 3: Europe’s most wanted” isn’t particularly original in terms of story development, and there isn’t much of a D to the film – except the predictable “if we do it together we can accomplish anything”. (4) . In fact, the characters provide so much crazy fun that you’ll most likely love the film. There are crazy adventures and spectacular scenes E , mixed with some serious scenes in between. (5) .

6. Alex the Lion is homesick, and wants to get away from the African savanna and back to the busy streets of New York.

7. In short, this is great family entertainment – brilliantly suited to children; still, there are some popular cultural references that adults may enjoy as well.

8. On the other hand, the story is so action-filled, hilarious and charming that you won’t mind a few weaknesses at all.

9. So our heroes have no other option than to head for Europe, where the adventure really begins.
|
|
10. So they have nothing left to do but wait for the plane to return and take them to Europe, all in vain.
|
|
11. The idea of making Alex and his friends join the circus is excellent, making the story both exotic and inventive, as our heroes travel through Europe – from France, via Italy and Switzerland, all the way to London.
